Balanced Elegance was selected by the LuxScents Layering Lab after testing the interaction between the warm, textured character of Gris Charnel and the refined freshness of Bleu de Chanel.

Rather than simply wearing two fragrances together, this layering creates something different — a third scent that gradually develops as both compositions begin to merge.

1 spray — Gris Charnel Eau de Parfum
followed by
1 spray — Bleu de Chanel Eau de Parfum

Gris Charnel should be applied first, creating the foundation of the layering. Bleu de Chanel is then applied over it to complete the combination.

The Layering Experience

Opening

During the opening, Gris Charnel remains the dominant fragrance.

Its warm and distinctive character forms the base of the experience, while Bleu de Chanel begins to introduce freshness and aromatic contrast.

Heart

As both fragrances settle, the balance begins to change.

The two compositions progressively fuse and the individual identities become less pronounced. This is where the layering reveals its most interesting character: a third fragrance begins to emerge, combining elements of both without simply smelling like one layered over the other.

The warmth and texture of Gris Charnel meet the freshness and polished character of Bleu de Chanel, creating a smoother and more balanced composition.

Drydown

In the drydown, the fusion becomes complete.

The resulting scent develops its own identity, while still allowing elements of both original fragrances to remain recognisable.

This is where Balanced Elegance fully earns its name: warm yet fresh, sophisticated without becoming heavy, and distinctive without being overpowering.
