Modern Romance was selected by the LuxScents Layering Lab after testing the interaction between the warm, deep character of Prada Paradoxe Intense and the refined freshness of Delina.

Rather than simply wearing two fragrances together, this layering creates something different — a third scent that gradually develops as both compositions begin to merge.

Prada Paradoxe Intense should be applied first, creating the foundation of the layering. Parfums de Marly Delina is then applied over it to complete the combination.

The Layering Experience

Opening

During the opening, Prada Paradoxe Intense remains the dominant fragrance.

Its warm and distinctive character forms the base of the experience, while Delina begins to introduce a tart, juicy freshness and floral contrast.

Heart

As both fragrances settle, the balance begins to change.

The two compositions progressively fuse and the individual identities become less pronounced. This is where the layering reveals its most interesting character: a third fragrance begins to emerge, combining elements of both without simply smelling like one layered over the other.

The deep, syrupy jasmine of Paradoxe Intense meets the majestic, vibrant Turkish rose of Delina, creating a smoother and more balanced composition.

Drydown

In the drydown, the fusion becomes complete.

The resulting scent develops its own identity, while still allowing elements of both original fragrances to remain recognisable.

This is where Modern Romance fully earns its name: intense yet hyper-romantic, sophisticated without becoming heavy, and distinctive without being overpowering.
