Urban Contrast was selected by the LuxScents Layering Lab after testing the interaction between the warm, textured character of Gris Charnel and the refined freshness of Allure Homme Sport Eau Extrême.

Rather than simply wearing two fragrances together, this layering creates something different — a third scent that gradually develops as both compositions begin to merge.

Gris Charnel should be applied first, creating the foundation of the layering. Allure Homme Sport Eau Extrême is then applied over it to complete the combination.

The Layering Experience

Opening

During the opening, Gris Charnel remains the dominant fragrance.

Its warm and distinctive character forms the base of the experience, while Allure Homme Sport Eau Extrême begins to introduce freshness and energetic contrast.

Heart

As both fragrances settle, the balance begins to change.

The two compositions progressively fuse and the individual identities become less pronounced. This is where the layering reveals its most interesting character: a third fragrance begins to emerge, combining elements of both without simply smelling like one layered over the other.

The warmth, tea and fig texture of Gris Charnel meet the clean, smooth white musks and tonka of Allure Homme Sport Eau Extrême, creating a smoother and more balanced composition.

Drydown

In the drydown, the fusion becomes complete.

The resulting scent develops its own identity, while still allowing elements of both original fragrances to remain recognisable.

This is where Urban Contrast fully earns its name: warm yet fresh, sophisticated without becoming heavy, and distinctive without being overpowering.
